The project Gendering Internet. Violence, Resilience and Empowerment in digital spaces (GIVRE) aims to examine digital gender-based violence and related practices of resilience, resistance and empowerment.

The main objectives include advancing the understanding of the mutual shaping between digital technologies and gender, developing a digital self-defense toolkit, mapping best practices, and gathering policy guidelines to counter digital gender-based violence.

Through a mixed-method research approach, the project will provide recommendations for designing safer and more inclusive digital spaces.
